Five Steps to Applying Nail Stickers! A Pandemic Solution to Getting Your Nails Done

The pandemic has introduced us to the new normal to encourage social distancing and minimize the spread of the virus. Part of the new normal is working from home and avoiding visits to the malls and other shops except when buying your essentials.

However, working at home does not mean an end to nail pampering and glamour. I firmly believe so. But how do we do it when we are not expert in doing our nails? I, for one, am very lousy when it comes to putting nail polish on because it gets air bubbles, looks messy, and is just not glamourous. However, I still want nails on flick even when I am working from home. Now the problem is how do I do it when going to the nail salon is not a good option during the pandemic?  

Then I discovered nail stickers! Those fancy nail savers! They sell it cheap on Shopee and Lazada. So I hoarded up some for my nails and toenails to try and see if these will do the job. And they did not fail me.

I can easily do my nails in less than 10 minutes. You just have to follow these 5 steps to flawlessly apply nail stickers:

1. Before using nail stickers, clean your nails using baby wipes and let them dry.

2. Peel off a sticker using a tweezer and stick it on your nails. Make sure you don't touch the sticky side of the sticker because it will reduce the adhesiveness.

3. Press down firmly on the sticker to release as much air bubbles. Make sure it fits perfectly on your nail.

4. Then use a nail file to trim the edge of the sticker to follow your nail shape.

5. To seal and protect the sticker, add a top coat over the entire nail. This will also add more gloss to your nail stickers and make it last longer.

And voila! Flawless and quick way to getting your nails done like a pro!
